Cruelty free products

The cruelty free products I absolutely could not live with out.

Giovanni shampoo and conditioner. I took a picture of the front and back so you didn’t have to google the ingredients.

Giovanni mouse and hair spray:

Baby oh baby lotion:

Dr Bronner aloe baby unscented soap and peppermint: I use this to bathe with, wash laundry with, clean counters with, and sometimes wash my hair with.

Kiss my face deodorant

And last but not least my favorite lip balm  hurraw orange.

This is the only sand soap that doesn’t break my hands out.

The only one of these products that will leave a slight scent if you are scent sensitive is the lip balm. It is very light though. I will

actually put it ona q-tip and put it around my nostril if I have been around a smell that I do not like. But it is such a great moisturizer for our lips otherwise

The peppermint Dr. Bronner’s does need to be diluted and if used in the aluandry your clothes will have a hint of peppermint.

But…couldn’t live without these! Love them all!

Since I have MCS, and PTSD and am sensitive to almost every smell in the world it has taken much trial and error to find these that do not affect me so I wanted to share.

  1. Thank you. I am sure there are others that are scent sensitive and will benefit for your already testing the products. It is interesting that some products made of less caustic ingredients can work as well. You seem happy today. I am glad. Hugs

  2. I don’t have particular chemical sensitivities but because I wash my hands all day at work they do tend to get dry and cracked. I also do some very dirty hobbies, and one of the best hand cleaners for greasy/dirty hands is one I learned how to make on a gardening show: marmalade + small amount very fine sand. The natural citrus oil in the marmalade cuts through the grease and the sand helps scrub off any stuck bits. Just washes off with water. 🙂

  3. I need a new shampoo. Been using Aussie and the scent is ok but I saw one in the local health food store (forget the name) that I want to try.

I love Dr. Bronner’s. We use that as hand soap here. Trader Joe’s has a decent liquid laundry soap that doesn’t leave a strong scent even though it’s got lavender in it.

Love Kiss my Face Olive Oil soap but didn’t know they had a deodorant. I should check that out…esp. since I have not been wearing deodorant given all the bad stuff in most of them. I know, ew. But I don’t think I stink. Lol.

And that body lotion…Baby Oh Baby, I need that for sure. I looked on the lotion I have and the ingredients aren’t so good despite having no scent.

    Thanks for the ideas!
